The second BookShots story featuring NYPD Det. Luc Moncrief (French Kiss) finds the wealthy Frenchman and his partner Katherine Burke investigating potential art forgeries and then a wealthy socialite's murder as the festivities approach. They chase the perpetrators from Park Avenue to the Bronx to the Catskills, dodging bullets all the way.
